What sets it apart

Event timeline

Deaths, Bloodlust and group cooldowns, each with its minute and who pressed it. Click one and the video jumps there.

Boss health remaining

How much health the boss had left, right there in the list, so you can see which wipes were close without opening anything.

Yours highlighted, your group's dimmed, along the bar. Jump straight to the moment you went down.

Trim and share

Mark an in and an out and you get a clip of its own, original untouched.

It all happens on your own PC. It brings its own copy of OBS and ffmpeg, kept apart, so the install you stream with is left alone.

Nova: one wipe, everybody's PoV

What you record goes up to your guild's cloud on its own, and Tuesday's wipe opens with everyone's PoV running at the same second: the tank who never saw the puddle, the healer who ran dry, and you.

How the screen is laid out: four PoVs over a single bar, and the pull's roster with whoever did not upload grayed out. The layout is the real thing; the group in it is an example. Once there has been a raid night with a few people uploading, the capture goes here.

What does it cost?

Recording is free for good and needs no account. What you pay for is the cloud: getting your pulls up there and watching them next to your group's. Through the beta that is free as well — every guild starts on 30 days with 100 GB.

What is free, and what is not

What beta means here

Beta means it is all there, and what it needs now is real people using it. It runs every day and does what it promises, but new versions land often and something can break along the way. A bug does not mean the application is unreliable — it means it is still being polished, and that what you report gets fixed in days rather than months.

Try it tonight

It installs in a couple of minutes. The only thing to do inside the game is type /combatlog once — that is what Astro PoVs reads to know when a pull starts. After that, leave it open and your next wipe will already be recorded.
