What is free, and what is not

Recording is free for ever and needs no account. What costs money is the cloud storage: the online space your PoVs upload to, so your group can share and watch them together.

A closer look at what Nova does

We are in beta

None of this can be bought yet: the beta runs entirely on the 30-day trial, and the plans below are here so you know what to expect when payments open.

Free for ever, and offline

Recording your pulls, cutting them, watching them with their timeline, and locking the ones the disk cap must never delete. All of that lives on your PC, works with no account and no internet, and is not going to change.

Trial

Free30 days

A whole month, with the full cloud.

100 GB≈ 2 raid nightswith 8 people uploading their PoV from every pull

  • One per person; the month starts when you press start
  • Upload every pull you record
  • When it fills, the oldest unlocked PoV goes and you keep uploading
  • Everyone's PoV, on the same second of the wipe
  • The whole raid, not priced per head
  • Watch it in a browser, nothing to install
  • Lock a pull and nothing deletes it
  • Share a PoV by link, and revoke it
  • Or just the bit that matters
Create your account and start

Trials are checked by hand: one per person. Anyone creating extra guilds to get more than one loses the trial they already have.

Trials are limited: 14 at a time, because the storage set aside for them is 1.4 TB in total. 14 are free right now.

The nights assume a guild where eight people upload, fifteen pulls a night, half a gigabyte a pull — which is the measured figure. With fewer people uploading they last longer.

Guild plan

It buys one thing: cloud space for your group's PoVs, measured in gigabytes like any drive. The space belongs to the group, so all twenty of you get the use of it — that is not a leak, it is exactly why one person pays for it instead of twenty.

And whoever pays for it gets the matching personal plan with it: the person holding the group together should not be paying twice.

Personal plan

A cloud of your own, with no group involved: for anyone who plays with different people every week, or who simply wants their pulls off the drive. Sharing by link comes with any cloud, this one and the guild's alike. What this plan does add is new overlays — the ones the app already ships stay yours and stay free.

Through the beta, everything runs on the trial

Everyone gets one trial, and you start it yourself, whenever you choose: creating the guild spends nothing and starts no clock. Once started it is 100 GB for the whole group for 30 days, with 48 hours to upload the first PoV — if none goes up, the trial comes back to you.

Upload as much as you like: the space does not limit how many PoVs fit, it limits how much history is kept. When it fills up, the oldest one without a lock makes way for the new one. With the re-encode on a pull runs to about half a gigabyte, so 100 GB with eight people uploading is a couple of raid nights rather than a month.

You cannot pay for it yet

There is no way to pay yet, and that is deliberate: prices go live once we have measured what a real season of raiding actually takes, so that the space and the price can be read side by side. Until then the whole beta runs on the trial.

If your guild has outgrown the trial and you want a plan before payments open, message us on Discord and we will sort it out by hand.
